What does HIV mean to you?

What does HIV / AIDS mean to you ?  Its not necessarily something you have thought about, certainly not regularly, however during December 2009 we asked residents in Brighton & Hove exactly that question.

We have produced a resource which captures the responses given by members of the community during our World AIDS Day Campaign.  In our campaign we aimed to dispel myths and misunderstandings about HIV, promote safer sex and testing and challenge the stigma surrounding HIV.

See the responses and full resource here

World HIV/AIDS Day is December 1st each year.

If you are interested in receiving a hard copy of the resource or if you have any comments about the resource please contact Liz.Dean@southdowns.nhs.uk
