This time next year

Life can change unexpectedly, if you let it…

A new film called ‘This time next year’ showing a year in the life of a Brighton & Hove teenager has been launched on the swish website.

Shot as a series of video diaries, the 12-part web drama follows a soon-to-be teenage mother, Jacqui, through her final year at school. It’s a gritty story, highlighting the impact of Jacqui’s unplanned pregnancy on her life and relationships.

This Time Next Year has been made by Fractured Films, a film and video production house based in Brighton, and stars up-and-coming actress Holli Dempsey, who most recently appeared Dr Who.

It was shot in a number of locations around the city, including the 67 Centre in Moulsecoomb. Local actors Steph Siadatan and Joe Bolland are among the supporting cast.
